Edward Zigler Receives ABCD Lifetime Achievement Award

The ABCD Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Dr. Edward Zigler in May, 2009.  Dr. Edward Zigler is a Sterling Professor of Psychology, Emeritus, at Yale University and the Director, Emeritus, of the Edward Zigler Center in Child Development and Social Policy.  He is also “the father of Head Start” - a tireless advocate for the well being and education of young children, particularly those living in poverty.  Dr. Zigler has guided and supported the Bridgeport Total Learning Initiative from inception.

We offer congratulations, and many thanks for the guidance he has provided.
